My name is Nicholas Noodwang. I am currently studying at DePaul University, where I have developed a strong interest in software, web technologies, user experience, and practical problem-solving. My education has given me the opportunity to work with programming, databases, web development, content management systems, and user interface design. I enjoy learning how technology works and, more importantly, figuring out how to turn that knowledge into something useful.
Outside of my coursework, I enjoy working on hands-on technology projects that combine software and hardware. I have worked with Raspberry Pi systems, sensors, displays, GPIO electronics, Python, and web interfaces, including projects that connect physical devices to software. I have also worked with Java, data structures, p5.js, WordPress, and Figma. These projects have helped me develop an appreciation for both the technical and visual sides of technology. I particularly enjoy projects where I can build something from the ground up, troubleshoot problems, and continue improving the result.
My goal is to continue developing my skills in technology and apply them to real-world problems. I am interested in software development, IT, web technologies, and user-focused design, and I enjoy exploring new tools that make it easier to create practical solutions. This website is part of my IT 320 coursework and gives me an opportunity to learn more about WordPress and content management systems while building something that represents my interests and experience.
